incredible dishes, everything from the sushi to the grill items. do not skip the Japanese curry rice or any of the hand-rolls. this place deserves the hype. the den specifically is such a hidden gem inside the Marriott. vibes were elevated and chill. I will definitely be back

Where do I start! This place is a hidden gem inside Azabu restaurant. Valet parking is $25 at the hotel, or you can park in nearby garages and walk. The atmosphere was intimate and designed to make you feel comfortable with the other guests, the chef, and the staff. We had the sake pairing as well, and it was amazing. The staff educated us about each individual sake; the filtration process, the tasting notes, and why each one was paired with the dishes. The chef was beyond amazing. His knife technique while cleaning and cutting the fish was mesmerizing. The preparation and presentation of each dish, along with his guidance on how and when to eat them, were superb. The freshness of the fish and the uni was outstanding top quality, melting in your mouth. Each dish was better than the last. We even came back for seconds on our favorites (Otoro and Uni). I mean… it’s a Michelin Star restaurant for a reason. Bonus points for the origami.

Each course showcases clean flavors, with well-sourced fish and carefully prepared components that let the natural taste stand out. The cocktails are also well crafted and pair nicely with the meal. A very satisfying experience overall.

A truly fantastic omakase experience! If you enjoy seafood and/or sushi, then you will not be disappointed. Everything was super fresh and delicious. The otoro (fatty tuna) was hands down the best bite of seafood I've ever had. It just melted in your mouth, and so did the wagyu beef course. They also have an extensive drink menu with a great selection of sake, and the staff is super knowledgeable about pairing with each course. Since this is omakase style, the chefs prepare everything before you. You sit at a large table in a small, intimate room and get to watch and ask questions too if you wish. The chefs are happy to answer questions and explain each course. All of the staff are super attentive and committed to ensuring you have an amazing experience.

Tucked away in the lobby if the Stanton this place is a hidden gem. The warm and inviting interior makes you feel comfortable while maintaining a high level of sophistication. Our server was awesome and she knew how to walk us through the menu and make recommendations that were outstanding!
